~Love Can Move All Mountains~

Sweet Logan...

How is it possible to miss the very child that

is sound asleep next to you? To love them

so deep that as you hold them in your arms,

your afraid of the day when they will grow

up and leave home. I watch my sweet Logan

sleep with a knot in my throat that makes it hard

to swallow. I listen to each breath that he

softly takes, while my heart swells with so much

love for this sweet boy. At times I am afraid that

I have let him become my only healing balm to my

hurting heart..... so much that I would

never be able to live without him.

Almost daily, I fight the urge to keep him

within my arms and never let him go.

He has seen me through the darkest days

of my life, always here to give me a hug

and a sloppy kiss.

I ask myself all the time, how is it possible, for

God to put so much love inside one heart?

To him I am mommy,

the one who takes care of him, feeds him,

hugs him,sings him to sleep, makes him feel safe,

and loves him more then life itself.

To me, he is a treasure that no words could ever describe.

I look at his beautiful face and

I know there

is no greater love. The Lord made this child

just weeks before He took our first son home

to be with him,

and when He took our youngest son home also,

there again in the midst of all the pain was Logan.

Full of so much joy, love,and sweetness ,

that he was like my own personal ray of sunshine.

For every tear I have cried, he has given me

a million smiles. This child won't have to wait

until he's grown to be something great,

I have already seen the wonders the Lord has

done through him. I wish that I could find a way

to keep him small forever. I only hope that God

will every now & then slow time down....

so that I can hold him within my arms

just a little longer.
